For me, nothing is worse than the last 3 years of Moye's reign at the club. Until that point it felt like something was happening, i don't know what but something was. Then everything just fell into place and it dawned on most of us with sense that we weren't going to achieve anything under moyes and it was the same thing every year. Too much to say why but point is i didnt look forward to watching us play at that point because every game felt like we were going to lose.

Now i'm happy to go with whatever roberto gives us. A top side is in us, we just aren't bringing it out sadly. Over the past what 15 months or so i have seen a team rip other teams apart. I have seen us look like we are going to score with every attack and i have seen players enjoying themselves again. If we put all the puzzle together we will be a force in both leagues, but it is whether roberto can do that or not.

Now where have I heard about the missing piece of the jigsaw before?!

Been the same story since Moores left & donated his swag to the pretend Uni. Never enough money to build on success. Never enough vision to rise above the pack.

This new youth policy is the thing that can propel us forward if it is followed through. considering it isnt just browning and barkley but garbutt (signed young age), Galloway/Henan (signed to break through quicker) Mcaleny (youth products given chance to impress) that are progressing. If they arent good enough then fair enough but in 2 years if our team was garbutt, stones galloway, browning at the back would we be that much weaker if they get chances to make the teeam before then?

I will always be arsed I love the club its a drug.
I am very worried the road Martinez is taking us down but will never give up on the team.

I get what the OP is on about to a degree.

The way clubs are financially, are we really ever going to win the league again? Not likely. Bit sad being a competition you can't win.

Those 3am alarm clocks every Sunday morning to watch Everton, sometimes they're bloody tough.

But you do it, because it's your family, it's in your blood, your religion. I'll never be bored or give up on them.

Newcastle fan?

Look at them with Pardew, look at them now.

Don't be one of those fans singing from the rooftops last season and now refusing to go. I'm fed up and annoyed but its still Everton.

We beat Wolfsburg and West Ham less than 2 weeks ago and people were talking about us finishing 4th again, we've dropped 5 points and now it's the end of the world.

We've been massively unlucky with injuries this season, you can't expect us to keep the momentum we had last season when we constantly have 1 or 2 minimum key players out through injury with others coming back.

I know it's easy to say "if we win this game" etc, but after Saturday, we've got our toughest fixtures out of the way for the first part of the season.

We have a chance to catch up some ground over the next few weeks when the other European hopefuls start to play eachother.

Arsenal have to play Liverpool
Man United have to play Southampton, Liverpool and Spurs

etc

There will be plenty of dropped points for our rivals over December.

We need McCarthy and Stones back asap. I also think Oviedo will be a positive when he returns, and I would start giving Browning a chance.

The OP started this thread last night after the game, and I dare say many of the people I followed down Walton road last night could quite possibly have said exactly the same, but today is a new day, I have had a bitch and a moan to colleagues at work, but Everton is like family I have an emotional attachment, sometimes I wonder why. Right this minute, I might feel like I don't want to use my ticket for QPR, but you can absolutely guarantee barring anything outside of my control that I will be there, standing and waiting for Z cars.
