I just saw it on MOTD, Clearly [Poor language removed] from our club who are being restrained. [Poor language removed] knobheads. What exactly did they expect to achieve had they not been held back? A banning order on our fans attending away games? Grow up you shower of [Poor language removed]!

TBH mate, i think you'll find it was coming from both ends. All clubs have em'!!

Iv been their myself, sometimes mob mentality take you away!! Hopefully it was all just shouting and screaming!!

One thing happened that lead to another yesterday . We scored and went mental . City didnt like the way we went mental and started acting up . We didnt take much notice in the ground as thats a complete waste of time . But outside they were most definitely calling it on and quite a few that were got it . Leave it at that .

As sharpy says most of the fellas there wouldn't dream of kicking off, but you do get caught up in the pack mentallity sometimes:@

Same as Sharpy and Harry. It happens, but when you go out looking for it then we've got problems. From what I've heard, this was mainly City fans (and stewards) looking for trouble, and Everton fans responding.

From what I saw there was a good 10 ft gap between the city fans and the stewards all looking at our fans. The other side of the stewards Everton fans were right up against the stewards trying to get through. This could be a biased media portrayal. Just [Poor language removed] the lot of them.

So you mean that it was our lot that were instigating things, mate?

I really hope this wasn't the case. Although there are some idiots supporting Everton, I think on the whole our support has demonstrated a reasonable nature. In saying that, our support can be quite reactive, just not overtly aggressive.

First time I got my heid kicked in a football match was by City fans. And we weren't even playing them! It was the Milk Cup final replay in Manchester.

They can be bad eggs, that's basically what I'm saying (n)

Over the years had a few problems with City fans, but in them days when you went away you knew there was a chance of trouble, you get knob heads writing books about how hard they are its bollocks I got involved a few times as you get no choice if some one charges at you you either fight or run and being fat running was never an option.as I have said before I have had my share of bruises and I'm disappointed that its rearing its head again although I cant see our guys starting it we had just won at the death did not see us hounding the Villa fans last week when we lost so why do it when we win its down to the City fans not all of them just the nutters.

Ah, the good old days, Roy. When if all that happened at an away match was getting a bottle chucked at you, you kinda figured that you'd had a peaceful day out.

they were spoiling for it, our lads wont back down though and will at times taunt until theres a reaction.
the bar across the road though "guvners" named after their "young guvner" crew of the 80's, saw a couple of our lads trying to go in before the game(fellaini wigs) the bouncer just said "no chance" adding "BELIEVE ME YOU LADS DONT WANT TO GO IN THERE", i have no doubt that it's their meeting place from talking to citeh fans who are mates, judging by the argie-bargie both in the ground and outside with the cops they were all up for it. i also know a copper who doea the stadium all the time and he said theres always a melee between the coppers and the "scrotes" as they are affectionately known to him, dont forget they can target people they are after in the ground and then it all goes off

Lets just say that Everton have an element that if needed would put what you saw City have out yesterday into the local A & R . FV is dead its only the knobs who are 20 years too late that seem to glory in handbags followed by endless " We did you " ..." No we did you " spats on the internet . Believe me Everton were as bad as it got in the late 70s & 80s .
As were City & Utd . If they tried that at Goodison they would get served .

Outside I laughed my bollocks off . Stone clad beauts holding make believe phones to their ears mouthing " Get it sorted "
We all went into the Beswick housing estate to get to the vans . It was funny how alot of these sweats went quiet .

From the clip shown on MOTD after the highlights, any outsider would have summised that it was one way traffic on our part.

I know always takes two to tango but the beeb made us out to be the instigaters.

Did anyone have it away on their toes? Anyone acting a bit tasty? Anyone shouting 'Fackin cam on then you Manc Caants'?

:coffee:

Manchester and Liverpool are one of the worst places for away fans. All 4 clubs fans can be horrible bastards when needed.

That's not very good. Hopefully the club has been able to identify a couple of faces. And it usually is only a handful of people that start this sort of thing. You remove them, and the followers tend to be more chilled out about things.
