Yep, outside of Barry vs Brighton whoever the subbed on striker has been they’ve always outperformed the starter.

I think Beto always make an impact from the Bench, I don't think either are good enough. Barry has a good reputation, Thierry Henry has even sung his praises, but I just don't see it yet.

We should be looking to cut our losses and attempt to get him out in January for £15m if we can get it. Big loss, but ultimately we'll end up losing £30m plus 4 years of salary if we don't.

I don’t think so. People changing to Barry previously was purely just due to Beto having a stinkers. We’re starting to get a good enough sample size on Barry now… it’s not looking good is it.

He played him on the break with loads of balls over the top 1 v 1 in Spain with Villareal.

He's not going to get those duels here...and our league is too pacy for him to win those duels in any case.

I don’t prefer either as our striker. Between the two, Beto is stronger and more disruptive. He’s more likely to score. Today showed with the right supporting cast around him will yield results. I don’t see the same success with Alcaraz trying to work with Barry. Alcaraz gives us more options to help Beto be successful beyond a perfectly weighted ball played through to him.
