He's only young but the longer this goes on the less we can keep defending these performances. I thought he did well on Saturday and linked up the play well, but he was back to his usual self tonight (in an Everton shirt). Completely innefective, zero goal threat and some awful touches.
Not sure why we bought him as I can't see him turning in to the player the fans are hoping for.

At half time it looked like Beto had gone clear but then he came on and reminded me that he can also be utterly useless, so I’m no further along.
This choice has parallels with would you rather have a kick in the testicles or poke in the eye.
