I dont care, for me it smells of RS and has no part on an Everton flag, but im not a scouser, so the birds mean very, very, very little to me. Liver birds that is, I love the real life 1s, im not gay, honest.

for me the city of liverpool should take it off r/s, it the emblem of the city not the club, and it would wind them up no end. the caravan club we are in has one on the emblem and they have had to produce a blue version for the blue members, they are refferred to as "mucky ducks" though.
this is the banner i want to make.

hi vis material they use for vests, the crest in the silver stuff thats mega-reflective

I dont suppose they would get away with having the bird these days. It would be a legal minefield. Im fairly sure the Council has it copyrighted to death.

But, you wouldnt see them having a tower on their flags................

exactly. that's what it's all about. what represents each club. the tower is everton and the liverbird is liverpool.

Starting ours tomorrow. Not sure if we'll end up getting one done as i'm ******* ****e at art.

looks like liverpool with those birds on it tbh bainsey.

while the liverbirds represent the city of liverpool, in a sporting context they synonymous with liverpool fc.

Nahh, the birds are blue therefore not representing Liverpool FC.

It's the lyrics of a song, mate.

At least, I think that's why the syntax is like that. I wondered aswell.

Nevermind Bainsy atleast you took time to make a flag to show your support for the team unlike theselazy bastards on here:lol:

i had an idea for a flag today.

guns n roses song called 14 years. we've been waiting 14 years and the opening line to the chorus is
"it's been 14 years of madness, 14 years of pain"

gonna try n do it tomorrow old skool style with a blue bed sheet and some white spray paint.
