I did get offered a ticket for the playoff final in the corporate but passed it on to an actual Boro fan instead.

Then I got offered tickets for York races tomorrow but all trains are booked because of the Playoff final so going to miss that now.

Going to buy bags of hardcore now

Pulling weeds in the morning (not a euphemism) then making a lasagne for a day spent in front of the sport on TV. Inbetween matches I will take a gentlemanly stroll into the garden, beer in hand, to admire my earlier endeavours.

Put the massive paddling pool up today which is an annual event now for me. I cut the grass, went the garden centre last week and shoved some plants in pots and tried to make the place look nice. When it’s boiling I love getting pissed in the garden, and floating in the pool, sunnies on looking up at the sky. I’m a simple lad. I don’t need fancy stuff to make me happy. Just me and the Mrs in the garden rocks
