I'd have him centre-half if anything, but I'd want the pace of the left full-back in the modern game, and it'd allow Maradona to cut inside. Same with Cafu.

He could do it all from what I remember. Incredible defender. Two footed. The ball skills of a midfielder. Leadership skills. Insane longevity. Plus he looks like a god, which is important. You could make a very strong case for him being the first name on any World XI teamsheet.
