The fact he said "Dunno" and shrugged his shoulders didn't suggest to me like he was desperate to stay, but then again that's Baines and I'm probably reading too much into it. I don't expect him to leave at all this year.

I agree. Fair play he was hardly comfortable with that going on but it wasn't the most positive thing to have said. But yes ultimately he's probably so laid back in real life that "Dunno" is nothing to read into!

Gang of bellends.

Great gesture by Bainesy though.

I'd be checking my property as soon as they were gone like.

Alright, alright...enough speculation. If anything, you can tell he's quite happy to be at the club and if he goes, I have no doubt it wouldn't be because he was pushing to go. And he didn't regret doing that, if he thought he was going to he'd have just kept on driving and nobody would have been any worse for wear, so fair play to him. I think he's happy and he just truly doesn't know but, if he went, it'd be because we took the money because the board are hopeless.

End of the day, if he goes, he goes. I know we love him, but he is a left back ffs. Damn god one, but a left back. Teams dont crumple when the loose a left back.

Have you not seen how much he creates for us? He's our one world class player.
