Baffling substitutions.

Anyone who has watched Everton for longer than 5 years would know that Moyes' substitutions can sometimes come under quite alot of questioning.

People use distin 4 Saha - Neville 4 Cahill ect as If they were like for like subs. When in truth around 2 or 3 other players moved position as part of the sub. Pretty sure both times there Fellani was pushed up top or just off the striker. Like it or not moyes believes Fellani can offer a threat and goal from there.

People try to make out an extra defender came on at the back and we played with no one up front.

Not saying I agree with the sub but let's tell it how it is !!

We did, but I was baffled at the time of the substitution. I think we would have been even better if we had kept our very fine defensive midfielder in that position and put a more attacking player in Cahill's position. We were, after all, playing Wigan. It's all conjecture of course...
