awful start to campaign

Injuries and the so-called big players not hitting the heights are both to blame IMO. We haven't had a consitent line-up all season. Have we actually been able to field the same side 2 games running?

I think we have mate, our game at the mo lacks varience and is predictable - understandable with our creative forces out. One thing i have been surprised at is the amount of chances other teams have made against us this season - we need to bild a foundation of being solid again.

We need to keep touch - 30 points before New Year is a realistic goal, the league this year will have low points tally's with no one really showing a great level of awsome consistencey - Spurs - lost yesterday (against Stoke at home i may add), Villa drew (at home to Wolves) and City are begining to draw instead of win as they always do when the weather changes - oppurtunites are still there and if we can stay in touch till the New Year im not overly concerned.

But then the backfour needs to be consitent...looks like it will be changed again. Other teams see our right-side as a weakness an expose it. It doesn't seem to matter who plays there. Maybe we just aint good enough.....
Possibly Moyes aint sure of his ideal lineup , but there again if he hasn't got a full squad to pick from. This could be a pivotal year for us , players like Pienaar won't hang around in a struggling team for long.

I dont think the problem bar one or two individual mistakes lies in defence Distin has been a good replacemnt for Lescott. The midfeild isnt offering much protection for me Rodders and Mofro are very still very raw and the lack of expierence compared to A Nev or Carsley as a sheild just isnt in the side at the mo.

Hiya mate, didnt we win in Europe then play the same team against Fulham? (
It wasn't a great line up, but it was the same team.

It wasn't a great line up, but it was the same team. Anyway, it was a poor performance in the league game!
