You're right of course. I just couldn't bear to see my lads' faces if we didn't get in! It would be all my fault as well!

i have been to preseason friendlys all over europe and have never seen a full stadium,i cant see this being any different,in fact most games there are more everton fans there than the home team, evertonians always panic over tickets, but everyone always gets in.

Thing is, we are quite a big catch for Vienna, where as we aren't a big catch for Wolfsburg, malaga etc. It's only 13000, wouldn't be surprised to see a big crowd, Vienna fans are quite passionate too.

Any chance of one of the Austrians on here asking the Vienna box office how many tickets will be available for the away section?

We should be easily safe if they put 1000 aside. Anyone have any idea how many we took to Wolfsburg?

German speaker ringing for me on the 1st overnight sleeper return from krakow on sat return on mon night £130! C u all in Irish bar on day of game!

The AV website is now saying that tickets for our game are not available to purchase online, so its buy on the day unless it changes on Monday.

Estimates were around 500 at the time, similar for werder bremen and they were easier to get to.

guys I talked today with a stadium office manager,
and I said that I'd like to book some tickets approx. 100
for you guys. And she said unfortunately the West End ( for the away fans ) will only be up for sale on matchday.
And she said there will be 100% enough tickets for us all for the west end.
At the moment they just have 350 bookings for the other sectors where the Austria fans will be.
Oh and i forgot! The tickets for west end will cost 10€, so they aren't even expensive :-)

Nice one Cro. Very helpful. Really looking forward to it now.

Not sure if its a post season friendly or a pre-season friendly but austria vienna are playing now. Think they've played 1/2 games already so perhaps they've started pre-season already.

They will be fitter than we will be against them so panic stations shouldn't be happening if we dont look too good against them.

I'm looking forward to meet you all guys, at the city centre Stephansplatz on matchday.

Andy that's exact the same situation like last year, they played against West Ham United and overran them easily, the season in Austria starts earlier than in England that's the reason why they have already played half of their pre season games.
They got now a new coach, my fellow countryman Nenad Bjelica, he reached the 4th spot with his new promoted team, he really plays the same style as Martinez short passing atttacking good looking football.
He even managed to beat Austria with his club 4-0 in Vienna.
I think it should be a nice offensive game! :-)
