Of course we can disagree. That is part of being part of a discussion forum. A couple of points I think worth making though. It may contribute, but it is not the cause. The planet is heating up anyway. It will then cool again. Global Warming is not man made. The media are scaremongering. The bush fires in Australia were not caused by global warming, they were caused by high temperatures, arson and accidents. They were made worse by government policies concerning fire breaks.
That’s it. That’s all I have to say on the subject.
However…
This is an internet forum. I am not attending university and disagreeing with my professor. I am not here to be educated. Nobody here is qualified to do that. It really doesn’t matter that we disagree. It’s not important. I do not dislike you for your opinion, nor do I think you are uneducated. I do not judge you for having your opinion. Your opinion means nothing to me, and mine should mean nothing to you. If I want to be, in your opinion, wrong about something - I can be. You can be too. I don’t care if you are wrong. I am not going to try and change anyone’s opinion. This is an internet forum.
Can we just agree to disagree.
Although I (and others) are responding directly to your posts, it doesn't mean I am talking only to you. While your posts are being used as the discussion point, it is a discussion on a public forum, so anyone can read and join the discussion.
Discussions around opinions on climate change and not like people are trying to convince you coke is better than pepsi or J Lo is hotter than Beyonce. People see this as a threat to our way of life, and potentially even to life itself. The biggest threat to this is not the leaders that do nothing about it, it is the people who vote for the leaders that do nothing. That is the reason people get so passionate about it and want to convince people to consider the facts, and not just shrug their shoulders. (Again, not to convince you specifically, but so anyone reading this thread can consider the information)
One other thing, I have seen you mention a few times now about climate cycles, which is perfectly true - it does go up and down over time. But have another look at the graph you posted a few pages back. Do you notice that all peaks are very sharp and then drop straight away. All apart from one peak. The current peak. Your graph suggests that the Earth should actually be getting colder now, but it is getting slightly warmer. I wonder why the shape of the current peak is different from every other peak?
