people are tired of the stagnation at the club imo and with the clap clap clapper sat next to them look at the atmosphere at the start of the season when we had new faces in was brilliant, same as last january when gibbo and jelly joined people are tired of being let down by the board time after time. Fer riding into GP on Django would of had the crowd in uproar.

also hope the derby atmosphere goes back the atmosphere at GP was absolute ****e im all for going back to the friendly days but I want to see passion and hatred aswell boys give it to buckteeth and that diving starfish.

I'm sorry but standing=singing is a MYTH.
Bolton away last week. All stood, no singing. [Poor language removed] OFF.

That's just the first step, the second step is for fans to make an effort themselves, not wait for others to make an effort.

If everyone who complained about the atmosphere actually made a point of starting off songs themselves then judging by the number of posts on here every week on this subject the singing would be non stop.

Next time someone complains about the atmosphere, they should be asked 'Have you made an effort yourself?'

We will never have good atmosphere although these are the games we need it... The likes of celtic/rangers have amazing atmosphere because all there mad fans go to one corner... The Gwladys street is good and get get rocking but its just patches all over the place...

Somehow, we would need to get EVERYONE who wants to chant/stand up in one part of the gwlady street.

The atmosphere is awful nowadays because our fans expect to win almost every game, it's the same as the Etihad, Old Trafford, Anfield and the Emirates were the fans expect to win. Goodison years ago was really loud because we weren't as good as we our now and the fans had to push the players on. Nowadays our fans should let our boys do it because we play boss footy. Our away support is completely different.

This is similar to what I've heard too. The home fans will always be up for the games with liverpool, city, manu, chelsea, arsenal, and spurs. Other than those, the attitude I've been told is that the team is expected to win without the added support of the fans. I saw that occurring against Villa, even when we went down, no one REALLY thought that the game was gone. It was GREAT to hear them get up and make some noise once Fellaini scored the first (and of course the second). But for much of the game against villa, we heard their fans more than ours, despite trailing most of the game.

Alot more women and children at the game nowadays aswell. Not saying thats a bad thing but has an affect on the atmosphere/loudness.

I agree we should have a singing area. Most away sides are out singing us every week. I know away fams are usually hardcore but we outnumber them 10 to 1 on average if not more.

I know our recent games at Goodison haven't been the most exciting I.e Swansea/West Brom, but the atmosphere around the ground has been below poor; especially on Wednesday night. In fairness it was slightly better yesterday around park end but that was only a result of retaliation to Villa fans. Would love it to improve.

agree lad, the atmosphere on Weds night was terrible, extremely negative too. sounded ot me like some blues in the lower glawdys had just come to have a moan all night.

If we had a big banner saying that Heitinga was so hard he can buy a big at b&q the atmosphere would be boss.

People were getting told to sit down and be quiet"trying to watch the game here lad" in the lower bullens against west brom, some bad bells in there...
