Can you be Japanese if you aren't Asian?

Who said anything about 5* hotels? I didn't. I said hotels. You literally had to change what I wrote so you could dismiss what I wrote.
You implied they are living in privilege in “all expenses paid”. I exaggerated yes, because you argument was already so wrong.

In regards to your first point, your example doesn’t match up. For it to be similar, you would be arguing that can you be English if you aren’t British….. but you are talking about skin colour specifically.

You are suggesting you can’t be British unless you are white. That is what you are saying isn’t? As you have repeated it again.

You really aren't helping yourself or your cause here. Asylum seekers and homeless are not a binary (either or) choice. to try to conflate the two is a trick @Tree13 tried. Also it's a bit suspect you coughing up 'white british' comments with the Windrush celebration having only finished a matter of days ago.
If the goal is to provoke some stuff, keep digging.

[edit: just seen the ignore comment, oh dear]
I am definitely losing braincells on here.

It's not a binary choice is the best you can come up with. Seriously.

It shouldn't be a choice. White British people should be put above Asylum seekers. Imagine fighting in a war or paying taxes year in year out, then falling on hard times, and being homeless and you're left in the cold by the government to bring Asylum seekers by the thousands to be housed and fed. The fact that you don't support people in this predicament is a disgrace really.

I have no idea how this is even a debate but here we are. Maybe one day you will be unfortunate to be homeless. I'm sure suddenly you would change your opinion when the issue effects you.

Sadly more people in the UK support the Rwanda plan than oppose it.

What you’re seeing there is a perfect example of Shy Tory syndrome.

People rarely like to admit in a group of people they don’t know to admiring something which could be portrayed as racist.

I’ve always taken yougov with a pinch of salt. As isn’t it owned by a Tory donor?

And there are more strongly against than strongly for. The somewhat opposed/for, I would suppose are more along the lines of, ‘we need to do something and this is the only thing being put to us to deal with it but I’m not fully behind it or against it because I don’t actually know why it means in the long run’

By the looks of it, you didn’t have many to start with.

What about the black British people that have fought in our wars and paid their taxes and then fell on hard times?

it appears you didn't have many to begin with so it's not all that crucial a point.

and now you move the goal posts again, 'fighting in a war', 'paying taxes', what's being fed got to do with anything? who is it you'd like starved? I'm the disgrace? hang on a second .
whats my being homeless got to do with anything, I might not have white skin and therefore deserve all the harshness and cruelty you can dream up.

is this johnnytotal per chance?

People get so concerned about the homeless when discussing asylum seekers when they don’t give a fat one the majority of the time.

I’m not sure anybody can make assertions about why people say agree or strongly agree, the key point is that just as many people want Rwanda to happen as don’t want it to, vs those on social media claiming the QT video proves nobody supports the policy.

There are other polls available other than YouGov which show the same picture. For every one person who opposes there’s one who supports.

yeah, I know I was making an assumption, but thats just my view. Interesting looking at it by age as well.

I never said or claimed it was their fault. I said that white British homeless people should be getting the perks that the Asylum seekers are getting instead of the Asylum seekers.

What kind of country doesn't put it's own people first?
Wow

Your repeated use of the word “white” shows you up to be a dirty little racist simpleton in my very humble opinion.

It’s almost as if the skin colour is the overriding factor for you.

They remind me of Christian fundamentalists, lining up to execute black prisoners, who suddenly take a caring interest in black babies when looking to ban all abortion.

I may be wrong but very much doubt they have prioritised which political party to vote for based on promises on tackling homelessness or raising council spending.
It’s looking for reasons not to let foreign people into the country.
