He was the beneficiary of the attack needing to be sorted more desperately. Hopefully Delph is fit soon because I don't trust Davies enough to start vs Wolves, Gbamin is out, and those kinds of performances can't be let go by just starting the guy again.

Just thought I'd burst this bubble now. Delph will NOT be the attacking answer in midfield that we need. He is slightly better at transitioning the play. But most of his passes at City were sideways. He is a water carrier not a destroyer.
