One of those games really. We didn't play badly but we didn't play well enough to win.

There's no lack of effort but there was very little quality on show.

Tough to pick a man of the match as again, nobody did badly, just nobody stood out.

Typical Everton really in that a chance to go up the table was missed. Just a bit of a meh game.

Fully agree with this, just one of those games, from both sides really.

Had a couple of moments where we could have got the 3 points but in the end a goalless draw reflected the game as a whole.

Not sure why anyone who thinks a starting line up consisting of Holgate, Coleman, Sigurrdson, Keane and then Iwobi/Gomes ready to deputise is Europe worthy.

Quite frankly, I doubt any striker would be able to form a partnership with Richy. He is too unpredictable and his decision making is awful.

Difficult to pick a MoM from a lacklustre performance all round but I go for Allan who was solid throughout.

A terrible refereeing performance by Atkinson (what's new?), Mings should have seen red but wasn't even booked for that challenge on Dom.

Everton need to be careful. I know it is a cliche but there are no easy games in the Premier league. There are many teams who can challenge for European places, not just the usual suspects, and further teams who in the past would struggle to stay in the league can do pretty well now thank you. Fine margins dictate a teams final position in the league these days and even a club like Everton can find themselves in big trouble like any other team, it has happened before and we got away with it. Really need to sort the squad out as in my view as they are struggling to be competitive consistently. On the bright side might not need much sorting if you think back to the 80’s when Everton went from an average team to world betters with just a few adjustments
