I heard a guy tell a lad to stop criticising Everton players last night at the Villa game, the lad was crucifying Billy early in the game (not really for any good reason - more habitual). Fair play he was right all this lad was doin was ****gin our players off.

I think you should lay off the Yak abit. I was there and apart from his first touch he did very well bringin other players in and did alot of work defensively.

... and was starting to make runs against defenders which he's not done enough recently. Thats possibly a confidence thing though.

Some people just have it in for players. He certainly wasn't lazy last night!

Most fans think that if the striker aint scored, he aint done his job...even if the team has banged in 2 or 3. Totally forgetting about the all round game.

This season has been unusual for us for giving up the lead against brum, arsenal, west ham and villa we could not hold on to the lead but 2-2 at villa is not a bad result at all.
The negatives for me were bily and yakubu both not good enough for me and we have to keep hold of pienaar he is class look how hard he works.

Yak still isn't 100% that why I was shocked he started. Bily is a enigma somehow he scores for us but very little else.

I do agree against a quality opponent like Villa in mid season I would have been very happy with 2-2 but we really needed the win and thats why I'm so gutted.

Wow.

Short memories on here.

Yak comes in against Brum and proceeds to net what should have been the game winner.

He'll play next year. Plenty.

Watched the game on the last night of my week in Tenerife and couldn´t believe it had happened again, just like last Easter! Still, the fact that I am still in Tenerife due to the volcano, means I´ve had more pressing matters to worry about!

Ironic, when there is one massive f*cking volcano on the island you're staying.

Did you go and see Teide?
