No, the question is does Armstrong interfere with play?

Armstrong jumps with an entirely different player and has no impact on the player challenging with Jake for the ball. Given the ball goes past Armstrong and his man without any touch, he is literally not “interfering with play”.
 
They never used to be given, but he attempted to play the ball whilst offside. I’d be wanting it disallowed against us. (Probably wouldn’t be like)
That's my take on it, too. If it was against us, I would want it chalked off. The elephant in the room, however, is the inconsistencies.

Do I think it would more often than not be ruled out in other games? I ain't so sure.
