The political handling and weaponisation of the justice system in the US is scandalous. The fact a woman was shot and killed by a police officer and never prosecuted is equally incredible. Those self defense points discussed on the Rittenhouse case clearly don't apply there, yet they refuse to prosecute.
I suspect one side of the political spectrum is cheering this outcome, but when you reduced standards for persecuting one group for something, you weaken it for everyone. Be careful what you wish for ... I doubt it will be pretty.

Cant even violently storm the seat of political power with the intent to overturn democratic process anymore, without provoking the weaponised, politicised justice system. World’s gone mad.

Perhaps you can give us the legal definition of seditious conspiracy and then I'll point out loads of examples that meet the standard from the last 3 months where state capitals have been scenes of a riot, particularly by trans or anti-abortion activists...
