Thats 4/5 games in competion mode over a few weeks. The years inbetween are games england are hardly tested.
Saying that. I feel for any keeper playing for Everton. Our back 4 are dire 99%of the time.

For me it’s a bit rash to base this on one game. What’s wrong with having two decent goalies?

The defence looked a bit more settled with Begovic I admit but Pickford has improved a hell of a lot.

Quite happy with that. He’s steady as a back up and there are other positions we need to be recruiting for this summer besides a back up keeper so it’s one less headache.

The contract extension makes a lot of sense, we have a lot to do in the summer, makes sense to not add to it by needing to find another back up keeper, it's a good move from Bill.

Well yeah, that model didn't work under Moshiri, we need Frank to be the boss working with the chairmen and zero Moshiri input
