I think this guy would be very useful as a sub. He can fit into a lot of positions and he is fairly two-footed. He just can’t handle the 90 at his age anymore on a consistent basis. Same as Coleman.

Like him as a person and as a committed professional - I don't think there's any doubt about that. I also suggest he's good to be around the club and dressing room. However, I just think he's too slow now, even for the subs bench.

He's in the same bracket as Eto'o and James Rodriguez in that he's a champion, a proven winner who we should feel gratitude towards that he chose to gift the twilight of his career to us. I expect the shirt sales alone pay his wages anyway, I don't get the hate.

In one of the games we kept a clean sheet in Ashley Young should’ve given away 3 penalties.

Should've should read could have given away 3 penalties, it's an arguable point but in my opinion should have been 1 (the 3rd).
