I honestly think people are looking at this the wrong way. If he cost 20 million and was asking for a 3 year deal, then I’d agree. But he’s an upgrade on the shocking Mykolenko, who we somehow paid 17 million pound for, and we will likely only be offering him one year with a free transfer. If anything, I think this is a smart deal given our circumstances, the type of thing Moyes used to do.
