2017/18 Ashley Williams

Garth Crooks voted him into his PL team of the week. I thought Williams had been much better this week, didn't think he'd been that much better though.

"Everton look unrecognisable from the side I saw get destroyed at Southampton. Against West Ham in midweek they looked lively, and during Saturday's game against Huddersfield their back four looked as solid as I have seen them for some time.

At the heart of both performances was Ashley Williams. I have always liked Williams' approach to the game, and I was interested to hear him say in his post-match interview that the dressing room is now a much happier place. I should think it is: six points, two clean sheets and six goals in two games is title-winning football".

He's still crap and needs selling ASAP. Hopefully he misses being in south Wales and wants to go home.

Who could argue with the world renowned Jabberesque football aficionado Garth Crooks.

He's still grim like, but at least it firmly puts to bed the idea floating around that Jagielka is better than him after 2 clean sheets on the bounce without him anywhere to be seen.

Aside from him giving the opposition a big goalscoring opportunity in every game , he has been pretty solid.............................................
...........

lets be honest he did his best to concede two goals against west ham, was better against Huddersfield like, but needs to look solid in a derby before I start praising him
The penalty he conceded against West Ham was truly shocking, nowhere near the ball so totally inexcusable. Which was the other incident?
