LOL looking at you all going all kopite with the transfer figures, trying to beat the price down in your own heads, we overpaid for an old average CB, possibly we needed to given the state of our squad, but lets not kid ourselves

I think our perception of value has been completely distorted. We thought 8m for Naismith was good.. today we would be asking 15m!.
9m is ok for a 32 year old with maybe 2 seasons at top level before he starts to show his age.. Man I feel old!

9 million is great for a defender who will actually defend this year. I'm excited for Williams and actually coming around to Kone. Think they could be a massive partnership

he's a better defender than what we currently have Walken.

Still got a few years left in him. £9mil - never had a bad injury record, a natural leader, can't go wrong.
he's a yard dog, the park end will be made up as we go long ball with him and jags, and not buying the 9 mill bs, we have a 10 mill bid rejected then buy him for 9??? it's like rawk on here this summer

He isn't a yard dog though?

He's more than capable of playing it out from the back but, it's obviously not how Koeman wants to play.

Delighted with this signing whatever, though hoping he is not the only replacement for Stones and we also go for another defender, which it looks like we will.
