Good workout all round. Seamus MoM (even if you discount the goal - he doesn't get many headed goals, is that his first?). Gibson looked solid, I don't even think it was a penalty TBH. Digne/Bernard combo getting slick.

No, he scored one versus Spurs in his first or second season, mind you he was playing on the wing.

Keane and Digne were very good in defense. Any midfield combination of Davies/Schneiderlin/Gomes is going to be very open.

The attacking midfielders were a bit anonymous. Broadhead was probably the best.

Drop Gueye, Richarlison and Mina into that team and it's pretty good. Add a striker who gets goals and it's real good. A little low on depth but a strong matchday squad when healthy.

Davies still looks untidy in a lot of his work, still it suits his appearance, he looks like across between Werzil Gummidge and Cat Weasel.

Looked a bit more fluid than we usually do at this stage of the preseason. Nice to see a semblance of a first 11 as well rather than the usual random 11a we chuck out in pre season that bear no resemblance to the first 11.

Everton wants to reach the top six. I think the manager today gave a signal to Brands and Moshiri that he needs new players as he has only made three substitutions.

Look at the substitutes on the bench. Unbelievable such crap.

Lookman- Is going to Leipzig
Mirallas- is for quick exit
Mccarthy- will leave
Williams, Baningime, Pennighton - not even worth commenting ...

Delph did only 2 or 3 training sessions, normal did not play
Pickford was only option, Lossl and Baines the same thing.

But it is evident the lack of quality in the substitutes ...

It's all about fitness right now and we do look fit, even compared to Sunday.

Wigan will be another step up as they'll be right up to it and there will be more of a competitive feel, especially with so many of our fans there.

Now the quality really has to start stepping up a notch. We played well in flashes today and that's promising, especially since we're still a fair few players short (both due to late returns and a lack of signings).

Just need the quality to come (which it will).

Nothing more than training matches these last few games. Pre-season really kicks in on Wednesday when we'll want to see some real steps up in terms of levels.

Good solid performance and a win,looked a lot fitter than Monaco. Still a couple of players that need to improve on their quality when on the ball and hopefully nowhere near our first team squad.
