Good luck to him.
I am surprised by this as well, was speaking to a first team player at Tranmere about Wallace and Baxter at the end of the season and he said Baxter was the better player and was much better than anyone else at the team. Maybe he is just holding out for a championship team?
Relative to what?
It is surprising he's not ended up a division or two lower at least. Maybe he's pricing himself out of a new club.
It's more than I earn ffsThe daft thing is that even if he was paid £500 a week, that'd be more than most 20 year olds could earn, and quite probably more than he'd get in any other profession.
One of the lads from work who supports Tranmere keeps telling me Wallace is the best player in the whole league...
Don't know if he is going over the top but obviously that is quite good, he will probably make it at championship level at least then I think.
Maybe the worst player I've seen in the royal blue.
Baxter is a young scouse lad who lived his dream and played for his boyhood club. If the worst thing he's done was be in a car while one of his mates had a joint and a bit of funny money on him then he's an angel based on what most of us probably done. Must be a few bad sunday school beauts on here judging by some of the comments about him.
He turned a year deal down because he got a taste of first team football and wanted more of it. Brave in my book. Hopefully he'll find his place in the game.
He was released by the Police without charge so have to take it that he'd done nothing wrong. Love the way you dismiss drug and counterfeit currency offences as though it was something as minor as littering......
