I'm sorry, I've lowered myself here to try and be one of the "lads"

I was being facee . . faseti . . fasci . . I was being a tit

I hope everything goes well and it's not too long recovery time

Cheers Terence
Fair enough, I was genuinely being honest about your average GP appointment these days! Standard to be sent home with a few printouts from webmd or doctors.com or some such online resource.

Wife has an op on her knee early Dec, her meniscus is all mangled and it needs trimming/repairing/removing depending on the severity of the tear.

Needs to submit a leave of absence form at work but doesn't have a clue what to expect for recuperation.

Anyone had a similar experience and share the sort of timeframes for standing/walking/running etc?

Ta.

In all seriousness had this a few years ago, a couple of days to hobble about with crutches, gradual walking unaided with intense physio from about 3-6 weeks back at work after about 5 weeks jogging probably after about 8 weeks though in all truthfulness you probably don't get 100% movement and sensitivity until after about 6 months.

ALL HAIL . . .

If it's keyhole surgery for an operation like that it should be fine

It's much the same recovery time as man-flu, so two to three weeks.
