I did see Arteta palm away a request from a young kid at GP, after a game, it was well earlier than 2014.

He could have given the lad two minutes, less even, for a photo/autograph.

It just left a bad taste.

What does it look like to you?

This all goes, by the way, to underlinging his unfitness to have been Everton manager, lest anyone think it a moot point.
It looks like he's happy to pose for one photo and the guy posing with him makes a gesture that mocks the scoreline and he recoils. But I'm supposing (even though that is the actual story from the article you took the picture from).

And, no, removing yourself from a photo of someone mocking you doesn't make you unfit to be manager of Everton; the photo underlines nothing in that regard.

lol these photos are all pure guessing. Just wait till deepfake editing become accessible to us and Got will be full of deepfakes at Lime St, Liverpool Airport, and all sorts of rubbish!

we literally cannot guess anything about players' behaviour because they might be reluctant celebrities or shy or not particularly friendly or whatever...

but then again, GoT will not be half as fun cos we can't gossip and speculate about players

Never like to see this, going back a bit but I remember John Collins doing this when he first arrived, basically told everyone to go away as he had his kids with him, fair enough I suppose but what did he expect? I’m sure it was his home debut as well, never really liked him after that, sure he missed a pen as well against Villa either that day or soon after it.

I'm not ignoring it. Im comparing it.

Maybe 3rd time lucky you'll answer my question.

What do you expect him to do after the photo is taken? Keep his arm around the lad?

Generally when a photo is finished you break whatever pose you were doing

Why is this thread even in the Everton forum? He no longer plays for us and presumably does not give a feck about us. Jog on Mikel.

More successful than “three time manager of the year” (what a farce that was btw) Moyes.

Winning a trophy does give you some kudos. Now he could end up as hopeless as Martinez or Di Matteo who did likewise, regardless, he will always be a trophy winning manager, something ‘show us your medals’ Moysie likely won’t ever be (unless Celtic are desperate).

Found Arteta's account! Grab your pitchforks!!

I could honestly see Moyes going to Celtic despite backlash, only to end their 50 year straight league wins or whatever it is.

Rangers would be installed as favourites overnight...with Moyes calling for it.

Laughable that Dave nitpicks at Arteta, a more successful manager than his beloved Davy Moyes after just six months in the job.
