Hmmm, I'm from outside that 50 miles radius. Am I really such an arsehole?:lol:

Never looked, or will look which club has more potential. I believe, derby games are special all over the world. I love watching derbies, doesn't matter from which country.

Good on you for choosing Everton, mate. Since you came on here, I've also developed a soft spot for Fortuna Sittard.(y)

And it was any different when we where playing with Welsh, Irish and Scottish players? No it wasn't.

It's a Derby, the most competitive in the League with or without local lads.

I think there is a difference when you have British players and Spanish and South American players, yes.

If you can tell me that you enjoy a derby match as much as you used to then I'll be surprised. Me? I'm just waiting for that dodgy ref decision that is going to rob us yet again.

I have too many bad memories since the Premier League started, and most of them involve derbies.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be chuffed if we win, gutted if we lose. I just have a little bit more perspective on life, and at the moment I'm not a massive fan of English football. I truly believe it has been turned around and undesirable factors are playing a massive part in the development of the game, or its lack of development.

I don't care about nationality, doesn't bother me if one of our players is South African or Scottish, aslong as they give a 100%. Arteta and Pienaar will give as much to this game as British players would, I have no doubts about that.

I always enjoy Derbies, it's a local Derby. If we get robbed by a poor decision we get robbed, that's football for you. That's what being a fan's about, the good and the bad times.

He was in my work yesterday (John Lewis) having a cup of coffee with his missus. Was lounging round on one of the sofas so I would not think there is anything wrong with his ribs. On the other hand, IAMYAK is very reliable so maybe a freak accident occured after I had seen him haha. I was just about to put a bet on then aswel, bet365, 1 nil Arteta first goal 150/1. Not sure about it now though.

Interview yesterday and Moyes said nothing, so id think he got injured this morning.

Of course the conspiracy theorists among us would say that this injury is nice timing while all the rumours of his imminent departure are flying around the red tops.

I would just say he has had a dig in the ribs from Fellaini in training and will take a few paracetamol and play.

If he doesn't I cry. Lots.

Couldn't do anything about. As everyone knows, Evertonians are born, not manufactured. We do not choose, we are chosen.:D
As for Fortuna Sittard, if you choose to support them at the moment, you most certainly are not looking at succes.:((y)

They used to be quite reasonable when I was a youngster. But yeah, it's been down hill since then. And a merger on the horizon? Sounds ominous. But good luck and all that.

Anyways...Radio City are reporting that he's a major doubt...and i doubt they have just looked on Bluekipper to find that out.

Must of been around 3 o'clock ish. I work in the restaurant part on the top floor, and I got told that he was downstairs in the coffee bar. When I went down, he was right in the corner with the missus (FIT) and was near enough lieing down on the sofa. Can't see it being true to be honest.

Thank you, really appreciated.(y) First club in Holland who turned professional and in the all time ranking in Dutch football, we're still in 12th place. Potentially without doubt the biggest club in the Dutch 1st division. The merger with our arch-rivals of Roda Kerkrade would really do my head in. Just imagine Everton to merge with Liverpool.

It would be horrible, we'd become Liverpool effectively.

Good thing for Sittard is that, like Everton, there is a lot of history in place. I remember them from when I was kid, and I'm 41 now. Ask a person of my generation to name Dutch clubs, and along with Ajax and Feyenoord, Fortuna Sittard would be mentioned.
