I have only ever seen Mikel heckled by the Everton support once - I think it was the Park End about 3 years ago against Spurs (maybe the game we lost late on when Moyes brought Hibbert on and we conceded late) when he seemed to not make an effort to get to a pass. but i think/feel we are in a position where we would have to gamble on kids like this,
if we don't we could miss out, in four years time they could be out of our price range.
while we could lose money on a few, if we find one that has the potential to be the next rooney/rodwell/arteta, the system has paid for itself.
and if we find two or three quids in.
recouping money on the ones that don't fly would be a bonus
