It's that often that you get to desecrate art on a daily basis. For that reason alone, I'm thinking about getting a crapper like this!

Julius Schmid - Schubertiade, circa 1820?
An artists rendition of Franz Schubert tearing it up in a Vienna music hall. So basically it's an 1820's version of a rock concert.
Not much has changed... You can see his manager behind him trying to hold back the plethora of groupies who want his Franz beef.
It looks like his crew/roadies in the doorway there.
And the old man in the front seat looks like he's getting up to do a stage dive into the crowd.

Dali special on bbc4 now. Been a ton of Hockney stuff on Sky arts recently as well. Fascinating stuff.

Went to the Glenstone museum over the weekend. It’s the largest private contemporary art collection in the United States. Very interesting mix of contemporary art, landscape design
