Arshavin.....

Moutinho by a mile. He's younger, has the potential to be better and plays in a position we need to strengthen. He also has the right mentality to succeed in England.

I agree mate. But Arshavin has that key to unlock doors. Them players are few an far between. An are pricless to any club.

Moutinho.

Plus 22M for Arshavin?

That's a bit pricey for me.

He's a good player to be sure but I thought someone said he's 27 years old. Moutinho's 5 years younger.

Just been out in the motor, had talk sport on. Arshavin's agent has just been on the show saying his personal terms are all sorted out. An it's just up to the clubs to agree terms. But at the moment they are miles away.

Zenit want abot £22m for the lad. I thonk he could be a top player, but £22m is a bit steep. If he was 21 maybe, but at 27 their no resale money.

Don't know who i'd rather Arshavin or Moutinho.

Sharpy, you have just said Arshavin is way too expensive, his salary too high, and he's too old to have any resale.

Is there any doubt that Moutinho would be the better option?

When he's given time and space in the Euros yes, It'll be interesting to see what he's like in the Prem where it's fast, pacy and physical. He's a luxury player, a very good one but I'm not sure where ready to accomadate a player like that yet.

Moutinho is has play maker characteristics, he definatly had a creative edge to his game and he has the workrate, energy and tenacity to go with it.

Moutinho is 21, captain of his club, is a star for Portugal's national team.

I'd rather have him, at his age and the price.

I would love to see Arshavin playing alongside the Yak along with Moutinho, Arteta and Cahill pulling the strings in the midfield, but back down on planet earth, we just know that wont happen. What i wish to know however, is how do Tottenham, Sunderland and Portsmouth etc seem to spend big. At Everton, we get average gates of 36 thousand each season, yet the transfer kitty still appears not to grow much. Were is all the money actually going?

Price may have gone down, but will his ridiculous wage demands?... Don't think so.

Can't believe the number of people branding M'Bia a mercenary for wanting 23k a week!

I lost interest in him when he claimed he wanted to play for Barcelona.then it changed to Spurs so he really means I will play for who ever pays me the most .nothing wrong with that but why try and fool the fans I was also concerned they way he disappeared in the one game that got physical so what would happen in the Prem?(y)
