Bollocks, sorry mate but Carsley was garbage. Ok 3 or 4 years ago, but how he ever got in the side the past two years is totally beyond me. I partied the day he left, almost as hard as I partied the day Faddy went too.

If we sign another Carsley we are making no progress whatsoever. I'm not taking part in this conversation anymore, can't stand negative attitudes, Everton as a football club don't need it anymore, we need positive people who have positive beliefs, and have faith in the club and its motto. Because I can guarantee you right now, David Moyes believes he can sign top class people, he believes he can compete with Man U and Arsenal, and that's good enough for me.

Think we'll finish between 4th & 6th depending on a bit of luck and presuming Moyes is there. Big issue for us is keeping key players fit.

What we need to sign -
3 or 4 Midfielders
1 Attacker playing behind CF
1 Back Up Centre Half
1 Reliable Reserve Goalie

Who we'll sign -

Manny
Huddlestone
Bentley (inspite of the ego)
I'd love to see Arshavein/Moutinho/Lucho but don't think we can get them.

Well if the board don't back Moyes, then they have no ambition. Well I don't believe the board are lacking in ambition, and I believe they fully recognise what they need to make it happen.

No worries. The board have backed Moyes when he's needed the funds.

Wanted Beattie. We got him.

Wanted AJ. We got him.

Wanted Yakubu. We got him.

I'm confident that if Moyes really wants this guy, or any other player for that matter, the board won't dismiss it out of hand but will do everything that's reasonable and that's within their power to get a player that Moyes feels will help us.

Emphasis on reasonable. For example, if Zenit want something like 15M plus for Arshavin, then I don't think that would qualify as reasonable, regardless of how much I like him.

Evertonians may have worries here or there about our club but one area that they shouldn't worry too much about is Moyes in the transfer market.

He's proven.

I agree with most of your post but we are going to struggle keeping 3 of the best CB's in the prem happy without buying another 1. If there is a position we are strong in then it's deffo CB

I read in the The Mirror (I think, I'll check out the web later) that being that Arshavin had a stormer last night CHELSKI and ARSENAL are rumoured to be sniffing round with a £10mill bid.

Now, I know most of this is 90% buuuullshit but still, I'm not surprised that it might happen

Hope moyes an the club change my mind. I just think some of the players we'v been linked with are unrealistic. 17m here 12 their. their no way we have that sort of money. An realisticly we need 6-7 players.
