No need to remind me, I was in the front row.

But fact is they periodically spank us.

I can remember two 4-1s, a 7-1, a 3-1 and a 6-1 in the last few years.

Am scared shitless for the away game. They always play exibition football against us and that worries me :dodgy:

Neither was I mate . I left after the fourth totally disgusted .

i can never understand fans that leave mid-game

unfortunately i've never had the opportunity to see everton play live, but i have seen dc united get embarassed before and the thought of leaving never crossed my mind.

once you're there, why leave? do you feel you're really going to make use of the time you save by leaving? i always keep in mind that the players don't have that luxury. We as fans claim to love the club more than the players, and they see every game out till the bitter end, so why shouldn't we?

Because they get paid to take it . I have PAID to take it . Big difference . Also I have payed to see us get beaten so many times that I have little patience left for another humilation

right its not as if you're getting your money back for leaving now is it?

i'm not saying the way you look at it is wrong, i saw a river plate game in argentina where the fans were singing death threats to their own team because the game was tied at halftime. so it really is an issue of personal opinion, i just feel that its better for the team to walk off the pitch confronted by the thousands of sullen faces, the faces of supporters who were let down but will still never ever stop believing, then to simply walk off the pitch and seeing thousands of empty seats because the fans wanted to **** off home to make sure they caught their serials rather than watching the team.

i'm proud whenever i see everton play no matter how well they do, i'm generally limited to only 90 minutes of viewing pleasure per week for the blues, so i take in every minute, and i just couldn't imagine leaving the game early.

I left early, first time ever, just wanted to get out of there get in the car and away before the traffic jams, I spend 6 hours travelling every other week or so to watch my team. I dont mind losing so much, when it happens though I want to see some effort, grit, and determination in the face of adversity, if the players dont show it, why should I stay and watch them take a kicking?

The players stopped at 3-0, at least I waited till it was 5-0, I had better things to do with my time and my mate was going out, so we thought we would leave 10 minutes early.

Already paid for my ticket, so if I wanna leave early or not even go, it doesnt bother the Club, they still get my money. The players still get paid, win win for anybody.

Wenger is just buttering us up so he could get Rodwell. :(

Don't know how he manages to find so many quality players w/ spending like a midtable side.
