Found this gem in the comments section under one of the news agency's match reports from yesterday. I know I shouldn't, but there really is an amazing level of delusion amongst the Gunner fans. As far as they'r concerned- what they saw last night was them up against people that weren't even playing football, rather assaulting their players physically for 90 minutes. I guess that's easier than just acknowledging their pitiful slide.

DEV VYTHELINGUM
Evetron's Manager has surely found his magic mantra of how to get a place in Champions League. By overly aggressing the opponent , which can be seen in their last five matches. They seem to take pleasure in that new game and has of late lost their real football. Arsenal should take pride for coming unscathed from such a physical match . Trying to overlook the physical threat of such a game which can at any time seriously injure anybody on the pitch is like refusing to acknowledge the evident. Referees should be well briefed for such matches and should be able to have full control else the game will no longer be a healthy competition which i am afraid this match did not reflect.

Simple put, he thinks silky Arsenal should just be allowed to keep the ball without being closed down & god forbid - tackled!

It seemed pretty obvious, after not capitalizing in the first ten minutes, that despite the quality play, this one was gonna end in a draw.
Good to see Barkley get some meaningful playing time. Loved Mirallas's defensive effort too. How many crosses did he block?

I've always found Arsenal fans to be the most pretentious in England -"We play a much better style than the rest of the league. We don't have as much money as the other teams at the top. We lose our top players, but still compete." Blah, Blah, Blah. All excuses. And to top it off, they now clain they are the truest fans biggest they stick with their team even after not winning anything for so long. Try being and Everton fan!

Hate Arsenal, and especially hate Wenger, what a moaning prick. First one wasn't even a foul never mind a yellow nor was Pienaar's, ruined their ability to get stuck in and had a noticeable effect on our play, and yet he still moans. [Poor language removed]

Also, LOVE Moyes' comments postmatch:

Re Tunnel Fight-
"Did you see the incident? I didn't either - and I know somebody who says that quite a lot.

"I wasn't nervous (about Gibson being sent off) because I thought we made it a right good game."

"I've been here when it's been quiet, but we got the crowd going - Everton got the crowd going, but just because you make tackles, not every one is a foul and not every one means you have to kick it out of play."

haha brilliant, brilliant brilliant brilliant

suck on that Wenger you French bellend

They cry poverty despite spending more than a hundred million a year on wages, too.

How pathetic is that guy?

Some of the most egotistical fans I've ever seen. I though City fans were bad, but these guys? Haha.

We all know that Arsenal play good football but it's a contact sport, try not get defensive when things don't go your way for a change. We brought the game to them and most of their players spent their time on the floor.

And this bollocks about not spending money? They spent over £50 million in the summer, yet we are only 4 points behind them.

It's funny how some success can make a group of fans so delusional, it's just laughable.

I was a huge admirer of Arsenal when playing at Highbury with players like Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Viera etc, loved watching them. But now I hope they don't get top four because they all sound like ungrateful children, grow up!

But yet you have Arsenal fans that say stuff like this:

'Arsenal didn't create enough, Giroud isn't the CF that we need and wasted his chances. Otherwise it was a full blooded English game and one of the better 0-0s that I've seen. Everton looked good and worth a place in Europe. Up the Gunners!!'

Debate on TalkSport now,

Durham saying Everton's game plan was to kick and foul, Fellaini is a "fouling machine" the ref lost it and Gibson should have been sent off.

It'll be interesting to hear how many Blues rise to it.

Tackling is proper bad like. I hope next time we play Arsenal we stand off them and allow them to play their 'beautiful' passing game.

Fckin bellend.

I love how the same muppets moan and bitch when your arsenals play barca and the barca players go over clutching their faces for nothing hypocrite ****s

****ing hell what a load of bollocks you lot speak.

Well we have won the premier league and you lot havent, and will probably win it again before you do.

All that "Arsenal dont like it up" them bull****. Its not that we dont like it up us, its the fact that the ref doesnt give fouls when they happen. You all know Gibson should have walked.

As usual you cant play football so you play anti-football.

And squirting water?! ****ing hell what a prick.

As usual Northerners trying to drag humanity back to the stone age.

Congratulations, you are the new stoke.

YOU FAWWWWWKIN NAWTHEN MANKEYS

Suck my wang.
