I think he could do the role Naismith does from the bench a bit more. I wouldn't have minded seeing him from the bench in the derby for example. He's not as combative as Naismith but is a big quicker and not a bad change option. Like much from Martinez not really managed very well and hasn't got the best from him.

2/3 separate knee injuries, when coupled with his age, transfer fee & his place in the squad before he even got injured it has been a disaster.
