Its actually very very good. It means the player is decent and villareal want him next season. I would be very concerned with an option to buy.
We don't sign good players. No good players wanna come here and never have. Especially now. We've been a laughing stock for years but now we are facing relegation. If the club or player agreed to a buy option. I dont think I want that player helping out a relegation battle.

The only downside of no buy option is that if he does well Villarreal can ask silly money in the summer. I mean an option is an option, nothing mandatory.

The lad can put himself in the shop window for the remainder of this season. Should his performances help us to secure our Prem status then whether we keep him or he returns to Villarreal his stock will have increased which is good for both him and his parent club.
