What’s so sad is that I’m a middle aged man whose spent the last couple of weeks in various stages of anger , upset and general fume at Everton and the prospect of almost certain relegation and all that would surely follow . now they dangle some loan signing at me , who I have limited knowledge of and suddenly I’m dragged back in .

Me neither, I just think it’s funny when journalists say the player really wants to come to Everton for the challenge of a relegation fight or because we’re somehow slightly ’bigger’ than the other teams he has offers from

The only things that motivate players now are money and playing time. If he comes to us it’s because he’ll believe he has a batter chance at both here as opposed to the other clubs offering. I’ve got no problem with this but everyone needs to stop pretending (not helped by the pressers) that players are joining for the fans, the size of the club, the manager, or the new stadium.

I know almost nothing about him and he’s been linked almost exclusively to bottom 4 clubs but it’s quite telling that I instantly believe you .

Having watched the obligatory youtube videos, he seems to have a bit of the 'Oumar Niasse' about him. Ball bobbling everywhere and he doesn't seem to know what hes doing at times. Some of the shots/passes in those videos are laughable.

Lets not over hype him from youtube videos to slate him when he doesn't beat 5 men and score from 30 yards with his first touch.

He will take time to settle.
