Well he shouldnt be the manager if that's his thoughts.
Broja is a loan that keeps breaking down.
Chermiti is a club employee brought in to develop.

When did Broja last score a goal btw ?
Agree unless moyes is having thoughts to bringing him on loan or whatever next season. I agree esp if when safe when trams cant catch us, why not play chermiti . Is one of the reasons i thought he played patterson at lb today to get a bettet look at him

If he’s getting chances ahead of Chermitti he’s impressed behind the scenes sand they are considering him for the future.
This worries me .

We are basically safe so I would be playing chermiti over him to get him fit and see whether he can do.

I don’t see the point in pkaying a striker that doesn’t score, can’t stay fit and will cost about 20-30m …. Unless Moyes is thinking of signing him …. This is the part that worries me …. I wouldn’t take him on a free tbh …. His fitness is a massive issue and he’s still only in his early 20’s.

He’s the Albanian James Vaughan ….

….Moyes looks at his bench options and the match situation against Arsenal and determines his best option is Broja. It might just be that he considers Broja significantly superior to Chermiti but we don’t know that. At least they both came on together recently.

Chermiti is a club employee who was brought in to play. I don’t get this ‘one to develop’ or ‘one for the future’ tag, he’s at an age where strikers are making an impact in this league. The timing of his injury this season was unfortunate as he was showing a few signs pre-season, but he really should be making an impact in this team by now given what’s ahead of him.

I 100% agree that I’d have preferred Chermiti to come on ahead of Broja but the fact he didn’t is not a very good sign. There’s no excuse for him.

When did Chermiti last score a goal btw? Our striker options are woeful and there’s probably a reason why he’s 3rd in the pecking order.

The other way of looking at it is that Moyes sees absolutely nothing in Chermiti and sees Broja as the better striking option.

Based on the few minutes I've seen both play in an Everton shirt I don't agree but obviously Moyes sees them in training

Maybe Moyes wanted a big lump up front to try to hold the ball up and stop it coming back as us so quickly.
From the little I’ve seen of Chermiti, that doesn’t appear to be his game or a strength of his.
Broja at least has the experience to try to do that.

Personally I’d like to see Ndiaye, Alcaraz and Chermiti up from together as they all seem to have a bit of skill and imagination not to mention aren’t afraid to have a pop on goal.
Think I’ll be waiting a long time for that under Moyes.

I think we need to buy a centre forward this summer and there's probably a deal to be done with this guy. So it makes sense to have a good look at him in the remaining matches.

That being said, I've seen nothing to suggest it would be a wise investment.
