Are you worried?

Are you concerned heading into the new season?

I'm not too worried. No more than any other pre-season. Seen enough pre-seasons to know that the results have little reflectionn on how the season will play out. Even the first couple of games proper are nothing too much to worry about. Somewhere between 6 and 10 games in will gave a huge indication of how we will do. If results and perfomances are crap then, that's when i will worry.

Stuffed down the side of my bed hidden away along with my shame. More crustration than what I'd assume is on the Titanic at it Point.
A lot of Evertonians turn to the fap sock to relieve anxiety and frustration...they’re easily the biggest selling item in the EFC merchandise shop.

We need young, hungry players who want to be here. Not a pension payroll and hopeless players with ‘potential’ that’s never never reached a la Keane - file him under Mirallas, Bolasie and Rodwell

You could say the same about all of Walsh and Koemans signings......except Pickford of course.

Responding instead of reacting.

I try and be as positive as I can, but honestly im slightly concerned, ive gotta admit, yes I know its only preseason, but I had such hopes for so many players and the only 1 who looks an actual player is the 1 we just signed.

Of course theres time to get players in and im sure things will hopefully look better once we fully up to speed on things, but its a concern for me, it really is.

I am optimistic to be honest, I don’t doubt the quality of the side or players, I’d question 1 or 2 motivation to be at Everton. But I am very confident about Silva’s ability as a coach. As a rule I don’t read to much into preseason good or bad it always proves irrelevant.

I don’t have high expectations next season and I’d accept a relatively mid table season next season if I think we have the right people putting in the right foundations, if there needs to be a step back to,take a step forward so be it.

If I’m analyzing though we finished 8th with being abysmal, with a more balanced team and an increase quality in key areas I thjink 8th will be our actual minimum and 6th maximum with European football. Then go to the well again and try and build on that next season. It’s going to take a season to run the antivirus, before having an actual look at 5-CL places.

We will be more then fine.

Not too worried, but think we need to finish in the European places to attract better players or any progress will be stalled

I'm worried.

...Should I place a bet that we again have 3 managers inc. caretaker ones over the course of this season or 4. I'm really in a quandary about it and it is stopping me sleeping at night.
