Are we part of the top 7 or top of the bottom 14

Feels like "top 7" for me, but it doesn't bother me much which bracket we're in.
Important bit is the final position out of 20 and what reward it brings.

I know this will probably result in some sarcastic answers, but where do you see us? It's often said the Premier League has mini leagues within it. I think we are now closer to being part of a 'top 7' than we are just being the best of the rest. By that I think it's more likely we'll break the top 6, as it now stands than one of the 13 teams below us catching us.

There is an argument that Chelsea are out on there own and then 11 points separate the next 6 teams.

It's all about perspective I suppose, but just interested in where you see us.

Ian.....stop falling for it

7th is not "best of the rest"...... 5th is.

And yes, the league table as of right now shows we are in the "top 7" and have a realistic chance of finishing 5th and winning the Best Of The Rest Cup.

(though I think we are still in with a shot at the 4th Place Holy Grail Trophy ;))

we're in the top 4 - we just haven't got there yet

Tomato tomato.

At the moment we are both. I don't mean that in a funny way. The next 5/6 games will tell us if we are pressing the top six or defending our position.
A couple more good signings and I would have been more confident about being a top team, but we are where we are. We are going to ask a lot from Davies, Lookman and Holegate.

We are considerably better than the teams below us, and not far behind 2 or 3 of those above (United, Liverpool and City).

I think Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea are some distance away.

Bottom 14.

I do, however, believe that we will become part of the top 7, in the not too distant future. We're making real waves at the moment, the potential for us, as a club, is enormous. Sadly, we're still at the 'potential', stage, but I can't remember a time, certainly in my life time, where things have looked as bright for us, as they do right now.

Good manager, ambitious owner, big plans for a new stadium on the docks, money to spend on players.

Give it 2-3 seasons and i'll say definitely top 7. For now, best of the rest, isn't a bad way to be.
