Are there problems in the Dressing Room

Player Valuation: £150k
The reason I ask this is aside from Moyses failings in tactics we are no longer playing as a team.Lets look at some of the potential problems that maybe upsetting the harmony.
1.Heitinga wants away, has played poorly, never finishes a game, yet starts every week.Rodwell can not be a happy camper nor Fellini.
2.Billy has never been given a chance in his best role,an international player bought for big money who's confidence has been torn to shreds watching a player showing no loyalty starting week in week out, namely Piennar.
3.Two players rewarded for their efforts with bumper contractsand since signing them have faded into medocrity.
4.A player rescued for 2.5m holding the club to ransom.

Now on the other hand you have players like Baines who had to wait his time to shine but did just that because of the team coming first.Same goes for Coleman but how is he rewarded? He is dropped for no real reason.
Dont think Moyse is fully to blame just feel that the once great team spirit we had has left the building.

Thoughts please.................

do we have to? tired mate.

As for the poster's original question.

I sure hope not because that when players start giving up or start looking for a way out.

We can't afford that.

The reply to this thread has been as responsive as our team.Jesus lads if we the fans dont give a fck who will.Iknow there are loads of threads giving off about today and about Moyse but this one is trying to look a bit deeper.

I don't think so either. I feel like when I see cancerous dressing rooms there's chatter. One player making a stink, another player acting up on the pitch (as in having an attitude, not getting sent off for a bonehead move), quotes in the media, one player not wanting to shake another player's hand (Nasri/Gallas), blah blah...basically the French team at the World Cup (which was this problem on steroids, but as an example).

Most of the examples you've posted are individual issues - not teammates banding together over a problem.

Pienaar clearly wants to go somewhere where he'll get paid more and has more of a chance at winning a trophy. His teammates have been pretty quiet about this.
Heitinga seems the same, and again, no comments.
I don't know what is going on with Saha because at the rate he is playing NO ONE will be interested. He just doesn't look into football right now.
And to be honest, fresh eyes, from what I've seen of Bily, he doesn't rate above Pienaar, signed contract or not.

But Tim Cahill seems raring to go, and Arteta (ignoring the crap play) signed a deal with us this past summer. Beckford lays it out on the pitch as a new signing, as do the young-ins Rodwell and Coleman. And Baines. And Distin. And T. Howard. All of those folks are still working together as a team.

You have David Beckham saying good things, and LD still drooling at the thought of coming back here.

All those things don't happen at teams that don't have unified dressing rooms.

The players are in a funk. The team is in a funk. We are playing crappy. That's what's leading to the discontent. Not a lack of a team dynamic in my opinion.

I hate the excuse of Neville being the one to look up to when we're [Poor language removed] but when he's gone....do these lads need another baby sitter?

They gotta believe that they are leaders themselves...Moyes leaves it up to them and the players know that they are hardly gona get punished. Moyes, take a leaf out of the book of SAF.

Players in the dressing room don't believe in the manager who is clueless. Doesn't the Yak know that moyes is wrong? Doesn't Arteta know he's been [Poor language removed]? Doesn't Heitinga know that he's well paid and not gona be dropped? Doesn't Howard know that he won the fa cup semi final so he's in no danger?

Whatever level of football, pick 11 players who want to be there. 11 players who will run their guts out for the team and never give up. 11 players who will show commitment, attitude and application to get a job done without detriment to his team-mates.

That was Everton, not too many seasons ago.

We have a squad, but we are not picking a team that meets that requirement.

As it happens, I do believe we would have scored an equaliser if Arteta had not been sent off. However, that would have papered over the cracks that this season, we have not been playing the best TEAM.

The problem in the dressing room is that 2 or 3 need to leave the club. 2 or 3 need a 'rest' from 1st team action.

The manner of the defeat yesterday was a one off, but adds more fuel to the fire that we are not selecting the correct combination of players.

Our captain is Phil Neville, in his absence then probably Jags is the best bet.
