To be fair, i like seeing a bit of aggression on the pitch even if thats a box, or a choke, i mean come on kids see it school everyday and its part and parcel of real life.
That said i hate seeing players being arrested sends out the compleate wrong message.
But are the players whollty culpable for this, i think the media has a lot to do with the public profile and perception of a player. On one hand they moan about players needing to be role modells, then they send fleets of papparazzi out to snap them in intimate moments, pay girls thousands for kiss and tell stories and take some really intrusive pictures of players wifes and girlfriends getting in out of cars or having a wardrobe malfunciton.
Perosnally i dont think its wholly the players but not absolving them form responisbility.
Has to be said if say Duns or Timmy played for any other club we would probably hate them but because their are own their charicters make them cult figures.
