I was actually going back to Terry Venables Bobby Robson days and yes we were miles more exciting to watch back then.

We wer'nt that exciting under Venables and Robson. In Venables defence, he didnt manage a competitive game until Euro96. There were times under Robson where we were very poor.

Nearly every team has 1 or 2 outstanding players. England maybe 4 or 5. The likes of Spain and France have 8-9.
