Kone will be decent, honestly.

I don't think its a case of that he has given him ample opportunity to justify his spot rather than going straight for Kone, and to be fair his performances haven't been that bad but in front of goal i would fancy Hibbo scoring before Jela.

Not being funny at all, I'm genuinely asking the question: what's happened to him?

What makes someone who could literally only score when he touched the ball turn into what he is now? Confidence? Something in his head? I mean, sure the fact that he was lethal once means he's got it in him, so why has it gone so spectacularly away?

Probably one of three things.

1. The players around him changed.
2. He started to think about what he was doing instead of playing on instinct.
3. He died in that Christmas package and the club replaced him with his inferior twin, Rikica Jelavic.

I'm not surprised if Vellios and Jelavic is been sold in January. Probably get 6-7 mill. In return Martinez should get a younger striker who can develop further during the second half of the season.

The majority of any transfer budget we've got needs to go on a young striker with pace & technique. Not easy to find but we've got a year to do it and should have a fair bit of money.

I'd be surprised if there wasn't anything left to spend.

At least that's what I'm going with for Football Manager 2014

Didn' t Spike Milligan write a book about our Croat 'striker'...Bad Jellyvic. Honestly, I do not know how there are still people who think Jela can come good...he is a TERRIBLE striker...probably the worst in the EPL
