I watched that a few years back, when it was first unbanned, clearly its lost its edge over the years, but personally, I wondered what the Robert Fleck was going on most of the time, again personally, I thought it was a big pile of utter [Poor language removed].

since thursday i've been on the best good movie streak of my life:

-Where the Wild things Are (worst of the bunch but good for its creativity in character development)
-Ratatouille
-Across the Universe (hadn't heard good things going in but i thought it was great)
-Being John Malcovic (one of the best movies i've ever seen)

i also watched Wall-E in between, which is a brilliant movie but i didn't count it because i have seen it before

Got a free download on the Iphone of 'Lesbian vampire killers'. Looks like a bad B movie horror but funny as fcuk with some cheesy lines and a few nice mams on show.

Good thread idea this, as I'm always on the lookout to rent (ahem) some good films and have lost track a bit.

Watched Inglorious Basterds which was super, wasn't expecting to like it that much to be honest.

Renting Men Who Stare At Goats Mar at the moment.

Recommend away.

i suffer from `don`t believe the hype` syndrome and find older stuff to love in abundance because of this - electra glide in blue - for starters, charley varrick (walter mathau) was on last week but i missed it. good thread

13 - Game of Death.

Some Singapore film, will probably be badly remade soon. A guy has the chance of winning 100 million of some strange foriegn currency by completing 13 incresingly nasty challenges. Starting with killing and eating a fly and culminating in something rather horrific.

I thought it was hilarious, though got a little nasty towards the end.
