Just look where they have moved to pal. They're obviously not good enough if they moved to League 2 clubs and Blackburn.

Plus, who would pay money for them?

....quite liked Forrester when I've seen him. Seemed to link very well with Long who apparently had an outstanding game last night. I like Long a lot. You have to think that if the Club desparately wanted to keep this boy they would've secured his services some time ago.

Me too. Of the forwards he always looked the most skilful and most rounded. His link up play and his awareness of others was first class.

Feel we have a couple of youngsters now who look able to make the step up, at least as squad players, and it's good to see players like Lundstram getting loaned out to get experience.
Think they should be included more often in the squads though, so far we've only seen Kennedy on the bench, feel they could well have been given a few mins towards the ends of game to ease them in.
Some, like Duffy and Barkley are a bit overdue though. I can understand the shielding bit, but there's been a couple of opportunities in which to get them game time and neither have looked much out of sorts when played.

Its prob their contract running out as well and wanting to play full time, there does seem to be a decent bit of quality rearing its head coming from our academy at other clubs - Ruddy, Baxter, Akpan, Fox and Mcmaneman have also played int he PL.

Have to say though - i thought the comments by Moyesy about Baxter were top class - no animosity bigging up the lad and saying he will make a career in the game. Maybe we're all to condiditioned by Sky Sports and transfer fees - they are only young lads trying to make careers for themselves - so important to have values as well. I suppose its not as straight forward as selling these lads - for instance if you were a parent or clever kid and needed to decide whether to join say Everton, Chelsea or City you would have to imagine that before making a decision one of the things you would look at is a review of past graduates and the opurtuinites given to develop at that club and opurtunites to develop elsewhere and conditions for same if your kid didnt make the standard.

Very rarely do we youngsters let go by Everton turn into top class players.
There was the instance of Jagiela sixtten years ago,but my understanding was they dispensed with the entire team as a cost saving measure rather than releasing an individual player.
