He was never going to be good enough. I never understood the hype, but I appreciate the hype as we absolutely rinsed Newcastle for him.

It’ll be something like 10-15% of the profit. So we’d get about £3m if those prices are correct. No idea why Bayern Munich would pay that for him like.

Everton to Newcastle is arguably a sideways leap. If he goes anywhere it won't be to a top top club or if it is, it'll be in a poor domestic league where the team he joins dominates.
