We’ve already knocked back £45m

To value him at the same ratio as Grelish on a goals per game basis he should cost £42m IIRC.

If we get over £50m we’ve had a result.

I’d still push for £50m plus a player (honestly any Chelsea player we’ve been linked with) and a loan for one of the others.

I think that’s doable, and the best transfer deal since we got money for Rodwell (especially for us in our situation.)
