If players and ex players refer to the issue, there must be something to it.

As as fanbase we have become adept at targeting individual players for rags and bile way beyond normal levels. Don’t be surprised when they admit they say they don’t like it and it affects their game.

No abuse is acceptable no matter the profession or how much money you earn, but I imagine the perceived abuse to these players is nothing compared to what people in our public services receive on a daily basis.

Agreed, my wife as an emergency doctor has feared for her life on more occasion's than you can count on both hands.

indivdual players are hardly ever subjected to it at Goodison park. The team are let known by all means if they fail once again to turn up. By the same token some of the support at Goodison is as good as any stadium in this country if they dont hide.

Really struggling to understand why selling him in the last week of the January window is better than the last week of the August window.

Strange club.

Probably saw him as being a golden ticket that we'd get big offers in regardless if he develops.

But the fact he's been muck and we've sold for less in January, a time when prices are inflated, shows how much his stock dropped.
